Our Firm

Roger Higa Financial Services, LLC is a full-service insurance and financial services firm dedicated to helping our clients build wealth and protect their hard-earned assets. Our firm is completely independent, so our loyalty belongs exclusively to our clients – not to a parent company.

Our independence enables us to establish working relationships with a number of industry-leading brokerage firms and insurance providers whose products we leverage to create customized client portfolios.  We recommend only those products and services that can be tailored to suit our clients’ unique needs.

As a financial professional with over 10 years of experience and an active member of his community, Roger is dedicated to helping individuals and businesses build and secure their financial futures.  To stay on top of his field and develop his professional skills, he regularly attends industry training and certification programs.

Education, experience and professional affiliations have fostered Roger’s practical approach to offering financial services and advise to his clients.  His academic achievements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Roger received the 2017 Outstanding Professional Advisor in Philanthropy Award for his exemplary practice of incorporating philanthropy in to his everyday work.  He is also a Member of MDRT Million Dollar Round Table (2015, 2016, 2021, & 2022).  MDRT is recognized throughout the industry as the standard of excellence in life insurance sales performance.

Maintaining a strong sense of community and a solid professional foundation are also very important to Roger.  He is involved as a Member of the Pearl Harbor Rotary Club and the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce.  Roger also supports the University of Hawaii Foundation and the Hawaii Community Foundation providing scholarships for those pursuing a career in Risk Management as well as those attending school in the Kalihi-Palama District, respectively.  Roger enjoys spending time with his family, networking, and running.
